Man Found Dead 12 Hours After Police Respond To Report Of Shots Fired In CT, Police Say A Bridgeport man was found shot dead almost 12 hours after police responded to the area on a notification of shots fired. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 8:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 26 in the 100 block of Denver Avenue. According to Captain Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police, officers responded to the area on Wednesday after receiving a ShotSpotter notification. Once on the scene, officers collected several items of evidence, conducted interviews, canvassed the area, and documented their investigation, Gilleran said. 54-Year-Old Shot, Killed At Hartford Intersection A 58-year-old Connecticut man was found shot to death at a busy intersection. The homicide took place in Hartford around 3:40 a.m., Friday, Oct 21 in the area of Wethersfield Avenue at Elliott Street. According to Hartford Police Lt. Aaron Boisvert, officers responded to the area on a report of a person shot.  When officers arrived they found Raymond Lewis, of Hartford, unresponsive, Boisvert said. Detectives from the Major Crime Squad, responded to the Farmington River on Sunday, Sept. 11, at 2 p.m. and at the request of Farmington Police after reports of a rug found by a social media influencer, Sean Austin.
