Temperatures are expected to warm into the 70s, and possibly into the 80s in some portions of the county on Tuesday, which will be sunny. Relative humidity will decrease to between 30 and 40 percent during the day and gusts could read as high as 20 to 25 mph. The NWS warns that these conditions could enhance the threat of spread brush fire, if ignition occurs. The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection also warns that the forest fire danger level for Tuesday is high.
Luckily a cold front is expected to pass through the area Tuesday night and Wednesday, bringing with it a chance of showers. Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 55, though there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. The wind is also expected to become calm after midnight.
