One Resident Injured In Fairfield County House Fire, Police Say A Fairfield County man received serious burns and suffered smoke inhalation attempting to put out a fire at his home. The fire took place in Easton around 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 24 at the home located at 15 hayes St. Easton firefighters responded to the home after receiving a 911 call from the resident stating the house was on fire and that people were still in the home, said Capt. House Fire Breaks Out At Six-Bedroom Estate In Weston A $2 million Weston home was ravaged by a fire that spread through the 7,000-square-foot mansion. The fire started Sunday night, Feb. 10 at the home at 103 Good Hill Road, said the Weston Fire Department. When crews arrived on the scene, they found a heavy fire that extended into the attic near the garage and spread throughout the home. Firefighters battled the "stubborn" blaze with the assistance of the Wilton Fire Department and the Georgetown Volunteer Fire Department.
