Darien Artist Charged After Violating Protective Order: Police An artist was arrested and charged after violating a protective order in Fairfield County, police said. Darrin Lamorte, age 53, had violated his conditions of release by staying at a home in Darien on Nov. 10, according to the Darien Police Department. He was arrested at on Tuesday, Nov. 14 after officers advised him of the violation. Man Texted, Called Victim 63 Times After Release On Domestic Violence Charge, Police Say A 41-year-old man was arrested shortly after being released by Bridgeport Police on a domestic violence charge for texting and calling the victim some 63 times. Esteban Gonzalez, of Bridgeport, was arrested by Milford Police on Wednesday, Jan. 1, after the victim, who was under the protection of a no-contact order, reported he had texted 63 times in a two-hour period, said the Milford Police. Gonzalez was charged with 63 counts of violation of condition of release, Milford police said. He was held on a  $100,000 bond pending arraignment Thursday, Jan. 2.
