Fairfield Police: Driver In Crash Says He 'Took Every Drug In The Book' FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A driver who told emergency personnel he was “God” and had taken “every drug in the book” was sent to the hospital late Friday after he ran his car into a tree, police said. Just before midnight, the driver was heading down Cornell Road and turning onto Melville Avenue when he struck the tree, police said. The car came to rest in the parking lot of Fairfield Warde High School.
