Police will have a more significant police presence at a Connecticut middle school after they were made aware of a Snapchat post making threats against its students. The incident occurred in New Haven County on Sunday, Sept. 8, in Meriden at Thomas Edison Middle School. According to Meriden Police Sgt. 5 Students Injured In West Haven School Bus Crash
This story has been updated. Five students were transported to a hospital, and 10 were evaluated for injuries following a crash involving a school bus and a truck in Connecticut. The crash occurred in West Haven around 9 a.m., Thursday, March 14 on Campbell Street near Terrace Avenue. A student in Connecticut has been arrested after police say he sent threatening messages. The incident took place early Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the Rogers International School on Blachley Road in Stamford. According to Sg. Six Students Hospitalized After Crash Between School Bus, Car
Six students were hospitalized in Connecticut following a crash involving a school bus, police said. The bus taking students home from the Ross Woodward School in New Haven crashed with the car at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18 on Middletown Avenue. Police said that 17 students were on the bus at the time of the crash. Each was evaluated by first responders before the six students were taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital by paramedics. The other students were released to their parents. The crash is currently under investigation by police in New Haven.

A Yale student who was acquitted on sexual assault charges last year has been suspended again as new allegations of assault were leveled against him, according to the Yale Daily News. Saifullah Khan was suspended on Sunday by Dean of Yale College Marvin Chun, three days after the new charges surfaced, the school newspaper reported. All students who were at the Madden Outdoor Education Center in Putnam County when a portion of the ceiling collapsed on Friday were released from Putnam Hospital Center by 3:30 p.m., said Ellen Lane, communications director of Putnam-Northern Westchester BOCES.
