CT Caregiver Critical After 30-Foot Fall While Raking Leaves A Connecticut woman is in critical condition after falling off a 30-foot cliff while raking leaves. The incident took place in New London County on Sunday, Nov. 5 around 1 p.m. in Mystic behind a Quarry Road home. According to Stonington Police Assitant Chief Todd Olson, the department received a call from a woman in her 90s who reported that her caregiver was missing. When an officer arrived he was told the woman was last seen raking leaves in the backyard, Olson said. The officer happened to look over the cliff and found the caregiver at the bottom. Police Looking To Locate Owner After Dog Attack At Area Park Police are asking the public for help in locating the owner of a dog who attack another dog near Barn Island in Stonington. The incident took place around 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, when a woman was walking her dog near Barn Island it was attacked and injured by another dog in the area, Stonington Police said. The owner of the loose dog fled and did not stay to give his information to the woman with the now injured animal,  police added. Woman Under Influence Charged After Two Fatally Struck While Crossing Road, Police Say A woman allegedly driving under the influence struck and killed two people while they were crossing a busy Connecticut roadway. Stonington Police said the fatal incident took place around 8:07 p.m., Saturday, March 9, at the intersection of Route 27 and Rossie Pentway in Stonington, when a vehicle driven by Carol Belli, 73, of Groton, struck and killed two people attempting to cross the roadway, said Capt.
