Shelton Police Seek Two In Car Break-In SHELTON, Conn. — Shelton police seek the public’s help in identifying two people who tried to use a stolen credit card at a Bridgeport store. On Jan. 8, a woman told officers she left her purse inside her car outside St. Lawrence Church in Shelton. When she returned, the purse was gone. Surveillance footage captured someone pulling into the church parking lot and breaking into the car to remove the purse, police said.
