Three people, including a man and woman from Connecticut, jumped to safety after a 70-foot yacht caught fire and burned in New Hampshire.
The incident happened around 4 p.m. Saturday, June 18 on the Piscataqua River, near Little Harbor, about 60 miles north of Boston.
The vessel, "Elusive," a 2007 Marlow, was heading toward Wentworth Marina when a passenger noticed black smoke below the deck, the New Hampshire State Police Marine Patrol said.

Two brothers, one a Fairfield County resident, have been awarded the prestigious Carnegie Hero Medal for their brave actions of saving a man and his dog who had fallen through the ice on an area lake.

Firefighter Killed, One Critically Injured Battling CT House Blaze
A firefighter was killed and three others injured, one critically, during a house fire in Connecticut.
The blaze broke out around 1 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, in New Haven, on Valley Street, officials said.
New Haven Mayor Justin Elicker said the firefighter was killed battling the fire, and three others, who had to be rescued, were injured, including one critically.
"One firefighter is in the burn unit at Bridgeport Hospital," the Mayor said.
The other two received minor injuries.
A pair of residents were also rescued, but were not injured, Elicker said.

One person was killed and two others seriously injured during a fire in a multi-family home in Connecticut.
The New Haven Fire Department received word of the two-alarm fire around 2 a.m., Monday, Jan. 4, at 151 Saltonstall Ave., in New Haven, said the New Haven Fire Department.
When firefighters arrived on the scene they found a large working fire, with three people trapped on the top floor of the three-story building, the department said.
