Puppies Found Dead In Plastic Bag On Roadway Four puppies were found dead on the side of a roadway by police after receiving a call from a resident in Connecticut. The puppies were found just before noon on Sunday, Jan. 6, when the Middletown Police Department received a call from a resident about a bag of deceased puppies found on the side of Preston Avenue, said Middletown Lt. Heather Desmond. A preliminary investigation revealed that the puppies were approximately two weeks old, black in color with some white on chin, chest, and feet.  The puppies were all male and appeared to be a possible poodle or cocker spaniel mixed bree…
