Repeat Offender From Fairfield County Sentenced For Possessing Child Sex Abuse Images
A Fairfield County man who was caught possessing child pornography for a second time has been sentenced to another prison term. Former Bridgeport resident Robert Mosley, age 55, was sentenced to 121 months, or just over 10 years, in federal prison on Monday, Nov. 28 for possessing and distributing images depicting the sexual abuse of children, according to US Attorney Vanessa Roberts Avery. This is the second sentence Mosley has received for possessing child pornography, as in 2016 he was also sentenced to 10 years in prison for the crime. He was then released on parole in 2018, …

Wanted Man By Feds Nabbed In Fairfield County, Cops Say
A Fairfield County man wanted by US Marshalls for parole violations was nabbed after a foot chase through an area train station. The chase took place in Stamford at the Stamford Train Station and surrounding area around midnight on Friday, July 22. Two men who were trespassing on a New Haven County property are facing a host of charges after being busted by police on patrol with an illegally modified handgun, authorities announced. A Connecticut man has been arrested for an alleged armed robbery in the parking lot of a bank earlier this year. On Monday, March 1, at around 1 p.m., Milford police responded to an armed robbery in the parking lot of Sikorsky Federal Credit Union, 15 Turnpike Square. A woman and a juvenile were entering a vehicle after leaving the credit union when a dark SUV pulled up. A registered sex offender in Connecticut is heading back to prison after being busted for attempting to sexually entice a teenager, possessing child porn while living in a halfway house, and taking elaborate steps in an attempt to cover it up. Philip Frost, formerly of Waterbury, will spend at least 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing child pornography following a conviction for a child exploitation offense. A career bank robber from New Haven has admitted to being the getaway driver in two recent Connecticut bank robberies. Gary W. Bornman, 58, of New Haven, waived his right to be indicted and pleaded guilty Friday, July 31, to two counts of bank robbery, according to the Department of Justice U.S. Attorney’s Office, Connecticut.
