The family that fell victim to an "unthinkable" tragedy in Massachusetts received a flood of support from compassionate Middlesex County community members. Nancy Hanson, age 54, died on Saturday, July 15, in her Brookline Street home in Newton after her husband, Richard Hanson, allegedly beat her to death with multiple items in their home, according to the Newton Police Department. 31-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck By Semi-Trailer In CT
A 31-year-old man was fatally struck by a semi-trailer truck on I-91 in Connecticut. The crash happened on I-91 South near Exit 21 in Cromwell at about 11:20 p.m. on Monday, July 18, according to Connecticut State Police. Police said Nicholas Davidowicz, of Newton, Massachusetts, was standing outside of a 2014 Toyota Prius that was parked in the right and center lanes, and a 2014 Cascadia Freightliner swerved to avoid a collision. A review of mail-forwarding requests is revealing where New York City residents moved to after the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak began. The United States Post Office received double the monthly average of mail-forwarding requests from New York City in March with 56,000, with that number increasing to 81,000 in April, according to The New York Times.
