CT Man Sitting In Kitchen Critical After Being Shot Through Window, Police Say A Connecticut man was shot while sitting in his kitchen when some 36 shots were fired outside. The incident took place in New Haven County around 10:15 p.m., Sunday, May 14 in the area of Level Street near Brookside Avenue in New Haven. 16-Year-Old Shot, Killed While Riding Bike On New Haven Street A 16-year-old Connecticut boy was shot while riding a bike along a city street. The incident took place in New Haven around 4:20 p.m., Monday, Dec. 19 on Valley Street between Mountain Road and Harper Avenue. Responding officers located a 16-year-old boy who had been shot. American Medical Response transported the victim to Yale New Haven Hospital where he was pronounced dead, said Officer Scott Shumway, of the New Haven Police. CT Man Shot On Thanksgiving Dies From Injuries, Police Say A Connecticut man who was shot on Thanksgiving has died from his injuries. The shooting took place around 1:15 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 25 on Sherman Avenue, between Elm Street and Whalley Avenue in New Haven, said Officer Scott Shumway, of the New Haven Police. Connecticut Man Shot Dead On City Street, Police Say Police in Connecticut are asking the public for help in the shooting death of a 30-year-old man on a city street. The shooting took place around 5:30 a.m., Sept. 5 in New Haven County. According to Officer Scott Shumway of the New Haven Police, the department received multiple 911 calls regarding gunfire on Chamberlain Street, between Chamberlain Place and Forbes Avenue.  Responding officers located a 30-year-old North Branford man who was struck by gunfire.  The victim, identified as Zaire Luciano, was pronounced dead on the scene.
