Ct-native Joey Logano Wins 3rd NASCAR Title, Putting Him In Rare Class Joey Logano collected his third NASCAR Cup Series Championship on Sunday, Nov. 10, at Phoenix Raceway, becoming the 10th driver to complete the feat.  Logano, 34, a Middletown native, held off Championship 4 contenders Ryan Blaney, William Byron, and Tyler Reddick to claim the title, according to NASCAR.com. Logano joins rarified air with the win. Only Richard Petty, Dale Earnhart, Jimmy Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Lee Petty, David Pearson, Cale Yarborough, Darrell Waltrip, and Tony Stewart have claimed three Cup Series Championships, per NASCAR.com.  View…

A Connecticut native, born and raised in Hartford County, Massaro, who's from Manchester, announced on Friday, Feb. 16 on the X Platform that he will be signing off at the end of the month.  "It has been an amazing journey of reinvention at NBC Connecticut for nearly five years," Massaro wrote.
