A Connecticut man who intentionally crashed his car into a woman and attempted to drown her as part of a rape and kidnapping fantasy admitted this week to multiple felonies related to the attack, authorities announced. Mynor Romeo Alvarado-Canahui, age 35, of Norwalk, will spend 25 years in prison and register as a sex offender when he's released as part of his plea deal, the State's Attorney said. A man who has been sitting in jail since May for allegedly attempting to drown and murder a woman walking down a roadway in Fairfield County has been charged with sexual assault and attempted sexual assault. A 31-year-old man is behind bars after allegedly deliberately hitting a woman who was walking with his vehicle during a kidnapping attempt and then trying to drown her in New Canaan, police said. Police were notified of the attack by a 911 call around 4 p.m., Monday, May 25.
