Man, 46, Killed In Hit-Run Crash In Fairfield County Police have identified the motorcyclist who was killed in an apparent hit-and-run after colliding with a car in Bridgeport. Police confirmed that Edilberto Delgado, 46, died from injuries he sustained after colliding with a car Sunday night near the intersection of Mountain Grove Road and Fairfield Avenue. After Delgado struck the car, police said that the driver sped away. A passerby saw Delgado on the ground and contacted paramedics, though he was ultimately pronounced dead.
