Covid-19: CT Unveils $1,000 Signing Bonus As Incentive To Get Back To Work Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont is offering extra incentives to get residents back to work after suffering through long-term unemployment during the COVID-19 pandemic. Lamont announced a new “Back To Work CT Program,” which will provide a one-time $1,000 bonus payment to 10,000 long-term unemployed people living in Connecticut to encourage them to get new jobs. More than 260 workers of three Interstate 95 service plaza McDonald’s restaurants are owed wages from employer Mitchell Enterpresises, LLC, of New Canaan, the state Department of Labor Commissioner Kurt Westby said on Wednesday, Sept. 2. Some employees are owed as much as $12,000 in unpaid wages, Westby said.
