Woman Extradited From Jamaica For 2022 Bridgeport Murder, Police Say
A woman wanted in connection with the 2022 murder of a Fairfield County man has been extradited from Jamaica.
On Thursday, Sept. 7, members of the US Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force took 39-year-old Iyana Reynolds into custody in Jamaica for the Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, murder of Andre Brown in Bridgeport.
Reynolds had an outstanding extraditable murder warrant out of Bridgeport, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Brigeport Police.
Brown was found around 10 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, after Bridgeport Police responded to 100 Marcel St. on the report of a party shot, Gilleran said.

Missing: Silver Alert Issued For 4-Year-Old Bridgeport Girl
A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Fairfield County girl who has not been seen by her father for more than a year.
The alert was issued in Bridgeport on Monday, Aug. 28 for Aliyah Serrano who was reported missing by her biological father, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police.
Gilleran said it is reported that the biological father was given full custody of Aliyah Serrano in July.
According to the father, he has had no physical contact with the girl or her mother, 33-year-old Valery Colon, of New Haven, Connecticut, since Monday, Feb. 28, 2022, Gilleran said.

A Fairfield County man wanted for the 2020 stabbing of a man that resulted in his death two years later confessed to detectives when he was extradited from Georgia, according to police.
Anthony Marion, age 58, of Bridgeport, was extradited from Fulton County, Georgia on Wednesday, Aug. 9, and offered a full confession to detectives, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police Department

On Monday, July 10, detectives from the Bridgeport Police Homicide Squad confirmed with law enforcement officers in Fulton County, Georgia that they had in their custody 58-year-old Anthony Marion of Bridgeport, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police.

A 17-year-old teenager who allegedly gunned down a Chinese food delivery man has been identified after his case was moved to adult court.
The case against Justin Castro, of Bridgeport, was transferred to adult court on Tuesday, March 7, for killing Jiabin Lin, age 36, of Flushing, Queens, Capt. Kevin Gilleran, of the Bridgeport Police.

A Fairfield County man has been charged in the shooting death of a 29-year-old man and the wounding of two others.
Joseph DeJesus, formerly known as Joseph Reyes, age 38, of Stratford, was arrested on Tuesday, Oct. 25 for the Saturday, Oct. 8 shooting death of Dominique Jones, of Bridgeport, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran, of the Bridgeport Police.
DeJesus was apprehended by members of the US Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force, along with members of the Bridgeport and Stratford Police Department, Gilleran added.
