Man Driving Drunk Crashes Into Stone Wall In Darien, Police Say A man was arrested for DUI after he allegedly lost control of his vehicle and hit a stone wall in Fairfield County, injuring two of his passengers. The incident took place around 1:07 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 1, when Darien Police responded to Hollow Tree Ridge Road at Wee Burn Lane for a report of a vehicle crash, said Darien Police Sgt. James Palmieri. Officers arrived and found the vehicle has struck a stone wall and the crash had injured two of the four people in the car, police said.
