Bust Made In Fatal Sidewalk Stabbing In CT Months After Attack Connecticut police say they arrested a 36-year-old man in a two-month-old fatal stabbing that left a 26-year-old dead in New Haven, authorities said.  Thomas Norfleet, age 36, of New Haven, is accused of fatally stabbing Shamar Gibson during an argument on a sidewalk on July 6, New Haven police said in a press conference on Thursday, Sept. 5.  Norfleet and Gibson got into an argument over Norfleet's niece around 2 p.m. on Orchard Street. 16-Year-Old New Haven Boy Shot To Death While Playing Basketball With Friends Police are searching for a suspect after a 16-year-old Connecticut boy was shot to death while playing basketball in the driveway of a home. The incident took place around 8:30 p.m., Monday, May 29 on Shelton Avenue in New Haven. New Haven officers responded to a report of the shooting and located Mark Mulongo, of New Haven suffering a gunshot wound, said Capt. Rose Dell, of the New Haven Police. CT Police Sgt. Fired For Off-Duty Traffic Stop In Which She Allegedly Harassed Woman A Connecticut police sergeant has been fired from her job after allegedly making a traffic stop while off-duty in a road-rage type of incident. New Haven Police Chief Karl Jacobson recommended on Friday, Aug. 26, the termination of Sgt. Shayna Kendall after an internal affairs investigation was completed and was found to have violated numerous department policies.  The investigation was reviewed by the Civilian Review Board who agreed with Jacobson’s recommendation and it ultimately went in front of the Board of Police Commissioners on Thursday, Aug. 25, who voted to terminate Kendall.…
