Swerving Mercedes Motorist Under Influence, Greenwich Police Say
A 72-year-old was busted over Labor Day weekend for allegedly drinking and driving in Greenwich. A patrol officer from the Greenwich Police Department was driving east on West Putnam Avenue behind a white Mercedes-Benz, which was swerving and unable to drive within its established lane. Police said that during the subsequent traffic stop, it was determined that Greenwich resident John Pastore had alcohol on his breath and failed three Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.
