Stop For Brake Light Out On Vehicle Leads To DUI Charge For Man In Greenwich A 48-year-old man ended up in handcuffs after a non-functioning brake light led to his arrest for alleged drunk driving in Greenwich. Jeffrey McCarroll, of Broad Brook, Connecticut was arrested on Thursday after Greenwich Police officers spotted him driving on West Putnam Avenue with a brake light out, said Greenwich Lt. John Slusarz.  Officers attempted to stop McCarroll who failed to stop for several blocks.
