New NY Law Allows US Congress To Access Trump's Tax Returns
Legislation that would give the United States Congress access to President Donald Trump's New York state tax returns was signed into law by Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Monday, July 8. Norwalk Man With Suspended License Charged With Felony DWI
A traffic stop in Westchester resulted in felony DWI charges for a Fairfield County man with a suspended license, according to police. New York State Police say they stopped a vehicle on I-287 in the town of Harrison for an infraction on Sunday, June 16 around 2 a.m. Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as Luis Ramirez-Condori, 28, of Norwalk was found to be intoxicated and driving with a suspended license, according to police. Hutch Stretch Will Be Closed For Parts Of Three Days During Construction Work
A section of the Hutchinson River Parkway will be closed on three separate days during construction. The closure is planned on the northbound Hutch at Exit 26W (I-287) in Harrison daily, from Monday, May 20 through Wednesday, May 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., while crews perform construction activities, weather permitting. Motorists should follow the posted detour utilizing Exit 26E and anticipate possible delays, the New York State Department of Transportation said. The box truck driver responsible for the fatal hit-and-run crash on I-95 that took the life of tow-truck driver Salvatore Brescia has been sentenced in Westchester County Court. Investors In Fairfield County Seek $17M From Developer In Fraud Suit
More investors from Westchester and Connecticut are demanding at least $17 million in damages and a court order stopping White Plains developer Michael D’Alessio and Michael Paul Enterprises from selling or transferring properties. They claim he misappropriated their funds on housing projects in Scarsdale and Manhattan. A Fairfield County man is facing multiple charges after allegedly drinking, driving and crashing on I-684 while in possession of cocaine, marijuana and thousands of dollars in Westchester County. The man who was killed when a raging fire broke out in his apartment on the 50th floor of Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan early Saturday evening has been identified as a Westchester native.
