Fairfield County Man Busted With Heroin, Fentanyl, Weapons Cache, Police Say
A Fairfield County was man busted with an alleged stash of heroin laced with fentanyl, and a cache of guns following an investigation by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force.
Joseph Gumbs, age 30, of Bridgeport, was busted on Monday, March 1, following an investigation by Bridgeport officers assigned to the task force, ATF, and the Middletown Police, said Sgt. Michael Paoletti.
According to Paoletti, during the warrant search of Gumbs' Bridgeport residence agents seized more than 50 grams of heroin laced with fentanyl, 35 grams of crack cocaine packaged to sell at street level, and marijuana.

Man Nabbed In Target Parking Lot Robbery, Police Say
A man who allegedly robbed a couple at gunpoint who he met in a Target parking lot to complete an online sale, has been arrested.
Michael Lockhart, 21, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 5, in connection with the Oct. 21 robbery in Ansonia, said Ansonia Police Lieutenant Patrick Lynch.
The arrest was made with search warrants with the assistance of the Bridgeport Police Department, Stratford Police Department, Connecticut State Police Gang Task Force, and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, Lynch said.

Kilo Of Heroin, Pounds Of Pot, Stolen Gun, Pills Discovered In Stratford Bust
An investigation into drug sales in Fairfield County has led to the arrest of two men and netted the discovery of a kilo of heroin, guns, pounds of pot, and pills.
Kevin Tobar, 23, and Jonathan Matos, 28, both of Stratford, were arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 7, by Stratford Police, said Capt. Frank Eannotti.
According to Eannotti, the two were arrested on a warrant by the Stratford Narcotics Vice and Intel Unit, with the assistance of the Bridgeport Police Task Force as well as the FBI Safe Streets Task Force.

A 34-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for drugs and illegal guns following an investigation into narcotics sales in the Stratford area.
Nolan Moore, 34, was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 24, following the investigation by the Stratford Narcotics Vice and Intel Unit, as well as the Bridgeport Police Task Force and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti.
During the execution of the warrant, detectives located marijuana and narcotics packaging, as well as two shotguns and several rounds of ammunition, Eannotti said.

A former boyfriend arrested on Tuesday for the murder of 24-year-old Valerie Reyes of Westchester admitted during an interview with law enforcement that he bound the woman and stuffed her inside a suitcase before dumping it in Greenwich.
