Brookfield Man Caught With Heroin, Cocaine After Complaint From Resident
Two people, including a Fairfield County resident, face charges after they were caught with heroin, cocaine, and prescription medication in the Hudson Valley during a suspected drug deal, police said. The arrests resulted from an incident in Putnam County on Thursday, Oct. 17 just before 10:30 p.m., when a caller told the Putnam County Sheriff's Office that drugs were possibly being sold from a car within the village of Brewster. Stratford Man Sexually Assaulted Child: Police
Police in New Haven County arrested a 72-year-old Connecticut man following an extensive investigation, authorities announced Friday, Oct. 25. Mark Keith Pasquariello, of Stratford in Fairfield County, is charged with two counts of sexual assault in the fourth degree, risk of injury to a minor, and two counts of illegal sexual contact with a minor, North Haven Police said. Stamford Driver Charged In Fatal Crash With Teenage Motorcyclist
A Connecticut man who crashed into a teenager earlier this year in Fairfield County has been charged with his death, authorities announced on Friday, Oct. 25. Hector Rolando Lemus-Portillo, of Stamford, is charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle and failure to yield while turning left, police said. Because of their age, the 17-year-old was not identified. Police said Lemus-Portillo was driving south on Lockwood Avenue in Stamford around 9:15 p.m. on May 17. A 59-year-old Connecticut woman faces decades in prison after state investigators claim she stole more than $300,000 from Medicaid by submitting false claims and changing patient's medical records. A 53-year-old man arrested this week that could be the key to solving a series of kidnappings and rapes that happened in a small Fairfield County town in 1989, authorities announced. David V.
