Boy, 12, Seriously Injured After Crashing Stolen Kia In Bridgeport, Police Say A 12-year-old boy who was allegedly driving a stolen vehicle in Fairfield County when it crashed into a pole is in serious condition. The collision took place in Bridgeport around 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12 in the area of Railroad Avenue and Hancock Avenue. According to Sgt. Darryl Wilson of the Bridgeport Police, the 911 Center received several calls regarding a sport utility vehicle that had struck a pole. Callers were uncertain if any occupants were still in the SUV. Teen Injured During Shootout Between Occupants Of Two Vehicles In Fairfield County, Police Say A Fairfield County teen was injured during a shoot-out between the occupants of two vehicles on a city street in broad daylight.  The incident took place around 5:49 p.m., Thursday, June 3, when a Shot Spotter activation was reported on the 1000 block of Pembroke Street in Bridgeport, said Captain Kevin Gilleran.
