A woman is facing charges in connection with a stabbing attack at a Connecticut boat launch that left a woman hospitalized. The Windham County incident happened Friday, May 10, in Thompson on Fabyan Road. Connecticut State Police said the victim was inside a car that was parked at the boat launch with Cassandra Heredia, age 30, to sell "crack" when Heredia began punching her. Fairfield County Man Nabbed In Connection With Overdose Death, Police Say
Following an investigation that lasted more than a year, a Fairfield County man has been arrested for allegedly selling drugs, and faces charges associated with an overdose death. Rodney Spann, age 26, of Bridgeport, was arrested by Stamford Police on Wednesday, Oct. 13, on charges of the sale of narcotics and conspiracy to sell narcotics. The investigation into Spann began in September 2020 after a woman died from an overdose, said Capt. Richard Conklin, of the Stamford Police Department. Man Found Dead On Bleachers Behind Playing Field In Fairfield County
A man was found dead sitting on a set of bleachers behind a playing field in Fairfield County. The man was found around 12:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 4, when Bridgeport Police received a call from a resident reporting a man on the bleachers behind a field on Boston Avenue. Scott Appleby, the director of emergency communications for Bridgeport, said when police and fire arrived, the man was dead, and the incident may be drug-related. Police have not identified the man. Trio Charged In Stabbing Of Teen At Norwalk Courthouse
Three teenagers are in police custody after allegedly stabbing an 18-year-old during a drug-related robbery, sending him staggering into the Norwalk Courthouse. Officers from the Norwalk Police Department and paramedics were dispatched to the courthouse shortly after 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20, where there was a report of a stabbing. Suspect Charged In Stamford Park Stabbing
A Stamford man who was nabbed by police for stabbing another man in Lione Park Tuesday night was also wanted for pending drug and domestic violence cases. Evans “Indian” Powell, 26, had been charged with assault and carrying a dangerous weapon for stabbing another man in the neck and back because he owed him $20 bucks for drugs, according to the arrest affidavit.
