Caught: Suspect In Bank Robbery Apprehended, Shelton Police Say Shelton Police were able to snatch a bank robber within two days with the help of the public. The department had put out several photos of the suspect, later identified as 37-year-old Michael Mangiafico of Seymour after he allegedly robbed the Key Bank in Shelton on Monday.  Shelton Police and detectives, with help from the Seymour Police Department, arrested Mangiafico on Wednesday and charged him with robbery and larceny, said Lt. Connecticut State Police announced the arrest of Yonkers resident Leon “Pops” Carson, Jr., who was allegedly set a mattress on fire at an Oxford rental home at the behest of the owner, Delores Lee, who had recently taken out a $300,000 insurance policy on the property.
