Felon Caught With Firearm During Fairfield Traffic Stop, Police Say A convicted felon from Bridgeport was busted on drug and weapons charges in Fairfield following a routine traffic light for a faulty brake light. Officers on patrol from the Fairfield Police Department stopped 21-year-old Bridgeport resident Darnell Brown’s Buick on Tunxis Road at approximately 9:50 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 19, after spotting his vehicle with a malfunctioning light.
