ID Released For Man Who Died After Boat Overturned In Long Island Sound Officials have identified the person killed when a 17-foot-boat overturned in Long Island Sound. Eul Lee, 64, from Fort Lee, New Jersey, was killed during a boating accident in Long Island Sound on Sunday, Nov. 3, said the  Department of Energy and Environmental Protection State Environmental Conservation Police. The incident took place around 9:45 a.m. when four people were fishing from a vessel in the vicinity of the Stratford Shoals (Middle Ground) Light Station when the vessel capsized, EnCon officials said. Coast Guard Calls Off Search After Adrift Paddleboard Found Off CT Coast The Coast Guard suspended its search Friday morning for a possible person in the water following the report of an unmanned adrift paddleboard approximately a quarter mile southwest of Calf Island. The search began Thursday evening when watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Long Island Sound received notification of the white and blue paddleboard with no identifiable markings, the Coast Guard said.
