Darien Man Charged In Near Fatal Norwalk Overdose
A Fairfield County man is in custody after allegedly supplying an addict with heroin when he sought Suboxone to wean off opioids in Norwalk, police said. Darien resident Clayton Gandini, 47, turned himself into police custody this week following an investigation that tied him to a nearly fatal overdose in Norwalk last month. Officers from the Norwalk Police Department were dispatched to a Creeping Hemlock residence at approximately 1 p.m. on May 2, where there was a report of a man having a potential overdose.
