Man Charged After Argument Turns Violent In Canal Park, Westport Police Say An argument turned violent at Canal Park in Westport around midday, police said. At 12:15 p.m. Sunday, June 16, officers were called to the apartment complex for a reported assault, said Westport Police. When they arrived, officers learned the victim was allegedly struck in the head by William Lyons after an argument over whose turn it was to visit a mutual friend living in the complex, according to police.
