At least six people were injured in the multi-vehicle crash that shut down part of the Henry Hudson Parkway in upper Manhattan Wednesday, Dec. 16 during the evening hours as the snow was beginning to pile-up. The driver of a van was hospitalized with minor injuries after he was driving up the westbound ramp of the Cross County Parkway shortly before 6:30 a.m. when he lost control on the curved roadway, went through the guardrail, off the edge and landed in the median of the Bronx River Parkway, police said.
