Police: Overnight Car Thieves Caught On Tape In Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Car thieves were caught on tape stealing a car from outside a Flintlock Road home Sunday, police said. The car’s owner was able to show officers the two men who approached her 2016 BMW X3 at 4:48 a.m. on surveillance video from her home, police said. The men walked to the car and then one got in, backed out of the driveway and headed north on Flintlock with the other following in a separate car, police said.
