Bridgeport Man Admits To Fatal Hit-Run Crash That Killed 81-Year-Old Man A Bridgeport man is facing five years behind bars after admitting to the fatal hit-and-run crash that took the life of an 81-year-old man in 2016. Pearak Pha, 28, pleaded guilty to misconduct with a motor vehicle and felony evading for his role in the June 25, 2016, fatal incident that took the life of area resident Gasper Esteves. Pha is expected to receive a term of five years in prison when he is sentenced on July 29. Suspect Arrested For 2017 Fatal Hit-Run Crash In Fairfield County The Bridgeport Police Traffic Division have made an arrest in the fatal hit and run accident that took the life of 81-year-old Gasper Esteves of Bridgeport in 2017.  Esteves was standing outside of his Ford Ranger in front of his sister's house on Arlington Street when he was struck by a Volkswagen Passat on June 25, said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.
