Police: Wanted Norwalk Hit-Run Driver Taken Into Custody In Westport After Vehicle Breaks Down Police in Fairfield County took a Norwalk woman whose car broke down into custody after she was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run involving parked cars in Westport last year. Investigators from the Westport Police Department received a report shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25 last year, when there was a complaint of a hit-and-run driver who struck and “heavily damaged” two parked cars before speeding away in the area.
