A Danbury deputy fire chief helped save the life of a person suffering a medical crisis on a flight from Las Vegas. The incident took place around 5:30 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 14, when Deputy Chief Bill Lounsbury was off duty on a flight from Las Vegas when he was altered that medical personnel was needed for a patient having an anaphylactic reaction.  He told the flight crew that he was an advanced EMT, said Danbury Fire Communications Coordinator James Gagliardo. The Ansonia Rescue and Medical Services were dispatched to the Ansonia Nature Center.after the report of multiple hikers had been stung, including one who was experiencing a severe anaphylactic reaction, ARMS said on its Facebook page.
