Newly Wrapped Up CVS Acquisition Of Aetna Could Change Game In Health Care CVS Health is ready to close on a deal with Aetna Inc. health insurer that could open new doors for prescription delivery services, according to Supermarket News. CVS announced the value of the transaction to total $78 billion on Wednesday, Nov. 28, which includes $70 billion to purchase Aetna and the remainder to cover existing debts.
