STRATFORD — State Rep. Laura Hoydick (R- 120th District) will run for Mayor of Stratford this year, according to CT Post.
Hoydick made the announcement on Saturday during a ceremony at Academy Hill. Hoydick will be looking to replace sitting Mayor and fellow republican John Harkins, who has already announced he will not seek a third term, CT Post reported.
If elected, Hoydick would be Stratford's third mayor. The town was run under a manager prior to 2005, CT Post said.
