STRATFORD, Conn. -- Ten Connecticut and New York men are facing criminal charges of patronizing a prostitute following a weekend crackdown on prostitution at local hotels by Bridgeport and Stratford police, the Connecticut Post reported.
The crackdown came about because of complaints about human trafficking and prostitution at local hotels, police told the Connecticut Post. The men were arrested and charged after a sting operation Saturday and Sunday at the Quality Inn on South Avenue, according to the Connecticut Post.
