Stratford Woman Charged With Stealing $4K In Parking Fees At Train Station

MILFORD, Conn. — A 33-year-old Stratford woman stole $4,500 in fees for parking passes at the Milford train station through her job with Milford Transit, police said.

Milford police arrested Melissa Drinkwater, of 39 Stoneybrook Road, on Sunday morning on a charge of third-degree larceny. Police had an active warrant for her arrest.

Drinkwater is accused of taking the money in November and December through her job of collecting funds for parking passes at the train station, police said.

She was released on a promise to appear with a court date of March 28, police said.
