Stratford Man Faces Drug Charges After Crashing Car While OD'ing On Heroin

TRUMBULL, Conn. — A Stratford man turned himself in to Trumbull police Saturday in connection with crashing his car on Main Street while he was overdosing on heroin on March 1, according to the Stratford Star.

Rory O’Brien, 22, was charged with driving under the influence, possession of narcotics, and failure to drive right, the Star said. He was found unconscious and in cardiac arrest after the crash, and Trumbull EMS revived him with Narcan, the Star said.

O’Brien told officers at the scene that he had snorted three envelopes worth of heroin earlier in Bridgeport, the Stratford Star said. He was released on $500 bond, the Stratford Star said.
