Stratford Man Charged With DUI After Crash, Police Say

STRATFORD, Conn. — A 53-year-old Stratford man was charged Monday with driving under the influence of alcohol after crashing his car back in December, Milford police said.

James Trapletti, of 733 Huntington Road, was arrested on an active warrant, police said.

Trapletti crashed into a utility pole on Dec. 16 in the area of Seaside Avenue and Bridgeport Avenue, police said.

He was also charged with traveling unreasonably fast and released on $500 bond for a July 13 court date.
