Stratford Basement Fire Forces 3 Residents Into Hotel

STRATFORD, CONN. – Three Stratford residents were ousted from their home this week by a basement fire, according to a report in the Stratford Star.

The Stratford Fire Department responded to a basement fire on Lombard Road Tuesday, Jan. 5. Three occupants ousted by the blaze are being temporarily sheltered in a local hotel.

A man and his parents fled their home at 80 Lombard Road the evening of Tuesday, Jan. 5, the Star reported.

They are staying at a local hotel while smoke damage to the home is cleaned up, the Star story said.
