The incident on Thursday happened on Lordship Boulevard, police said.
The Stratford Police Department began using Narcan to combat overdoses as a result of the widespread opioid epidemic across Connecticut and the country.
Narcan is a brand of naloxone, a medication used to block the effects of opioids, particularly in the case of an overdose.
The Narcan nasal spray was deployed to assist first responders. The Stratford Police Department worked in partnership with the Stratford Health Department, Fire Department and EMS to acquire, train and deploy the Narcan kits.
No further information was released on the Thursday incident.
