Officers from the Milford Police Department took custody of Shelton resident Alexia Negron, who was wanted for assault for an incident in August 2015 and then failed to appear in court to answer the charges.
Negron, 29, was arrested by police in Shelton for assault on Aug. 26, 2015, and then again for evading responsibility on Oct. 17 that year. A warrant was issued for her arrest last month, on Sept. 28, after she failed to appear in court. She was arrested by police in Milford on Tuesday, Oct. 16 and charged with two counts of failure to appear. She is currently being held in lieu of $15,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
