Fire officials told NBC Connecticut that two ospreys have built a nest above the station on a communication antenna and are dropping everything from sticks, fish and even a kitten in their path.

Firefighters aren't the only ones in the line of fire, the department's air conditioning unit was damaged after a dropped bass landed inside. Besides being a bother, the real concern is that the nest could damage the communication antenna, added NBC Connecticut.
