Officers went to a home at 73 Wepawaug Drive at 1 p.m. Monday to investigate a possible domestic violence incident, police said.
Officers arrested 18-year-old Joshua Armstrong, who was accused of threatening to harm the unborn child of a female inside the home during a verbal argument, police said.
He also grabbed the victim by the collar of her shirt, police said.
Armstrong was charged with second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct, police said.
He was released on a promise to appear in court Tuesday.
