At around 12:18 a.m., officers responded to the 24/7 Express for a robbery, police said.
Armed with the machete, the suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male, about 5’3,” in his 20s or 30s.
He was wearing an army green zip-up hoodie, blue jeans, black sneakers, sunglasses and a furry tan “trapper-style” hat with earflaps.
No one was injured in the incident.
