BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A 31-year-old Bridgeport man wanted on a warrant on charges of selling drugs was arrested Thursday in Milford, police said.
Richard Smith, of 1408 E. Main St., was arrested at 5 p.m. Thursday by members of the Milford Police TAC Unit. They were assisted by the DEA Bridgeport office and Bridgeport police said.
Smith was wanted on an outstanding warrant charging him with two counts of sale of narcotics and conspiracy to commit the sale of narcotics. He was held on $50,000 bond for a Nov. 28 court appearance.
The warrant was issued after an investigation into the sale of narcotics, police said.
